The AP-5000 Voice Activated Telephone Dialer is a very easy unit to program and use. Voice prompts guide you through the programming and dialing process.

When you pick up a handset, put the TALK button on a cordless phone, or press the SPEAKER button on a speakerphone, the dialer will automatically ask you “NAME TO DIAL”.  You just tell it the name and the dialer will call the number.

If you want to manually dial a number, just hit any key other than the #key to get a dial tone. To enter the programming mode, just press the # key at the “NAME TO DIAL” prompt.

Hearing Carry Over Users:

HCO allows a speech impaired user with hearing capability to listen to the person he or she is calling. The HCO user types his or her conversation for the Communcation Assistant (CA) to read to the standard telephone user.

How to make a HCO call:

Dial 711 using your TTY. OTRS will answer by typing “8234″ (for CA identification), the letter “F” or “M” (for CA gender), and “NUMBER CALLING PLS GA.”  Type in the area code and telephone number you wish to call, and then type “HCO PLEASE GA.”

The CA will make the connection and voice your typed conversation to the party you are calling. After you type “GA”, use your choice of telephone handset, headset or external speakers to listen to the spoken reply.

Receiving a HCO Call:

Type your greeting on your TTY, followed by “PLEASE USE HCO GA.”  CA will type “OTRS Relay (CA Number) with a call HCO is on.”  Use your choice of telephone handset, headset or external speakers to listen. You will have the CA say: “The HCO user my being typing now.” Type your message.

Continue to type and listen.

The VCO allows you to speak into the handset while the incoming conversations are displayed as text on the screen by using the toll-free relay service or TTY. Just read and talk. It’s that simple. The VCO is desk or wall mountable and is powered by A/C adapter.

Voice Carry Over calls must be place through Toll-free relay service. Voice Carry Over (VCO) is a free service from the state. Relay operators can be reached by dialing 711 from any touch tone phone. Please note: will not work with Digital PBX or VOIP

The VCO can also be used as an amplified telephone and has the following related features:

Simple Set Up and Great Looking Prints

The Presto system is comprised of two components:  The HP Printing Mailbox and the Presto Service. The HP Printing Mailbox uses HP Thermal Inkjet Technology for great quality prints on regular paper, and is designed for simple operation. Installation consists of plugging it in and connecting it to an analog phone line.  NOTE: The Printing Mailbox does not work with VOIP phone lines.

Using the Printing Mailbox With the Presto Service

The Printing Mailbox and the Presto Service work together to make sending messages and photos to someone without a computer a cinch. First, family and friends send email and digital photos to a personalized Presto email address as they usually would from their conputers and phones. Presto then formats the message, and it is delivered to the HP Printing Mailbox. Up to five times a day, the HP Printing Mailbox dials into the Presto Service to retrieve messages, and automatically prints them out in full color.

Senders have a choice of different email templates for special occassions, so it’s easy to send a beautifully formatted letter. Senders can also get delivery confirmation of anything they’ve sent. PDF documents are supported as well, and any that are attached to an email are printed out along with it, so you can send tax forms, movie tickets, maps and much more.

For the recipient, it is like a letter appearing in the inbox, all without a computer. Additionally, there is no need to worry about spam, ads, or junk mail since Presto only delivers messages from people on your friends list.

This portable voice amplifier can boost your volume by as much as 18 decibels. It consists of a rechargeable “fanny pack” amplifier and speaker unit along with your choice of microphone. You simply charge the ChatterVox overnight with the included charger, put on the fanny pack and microphone, plug the microphone into the fanny pack, adjust the volume knob and you’re set.
