I met Ann 15 years ago when she worked for a different company.  I had seen someone else at the same company a few months before seeing Ann, and this person tried to sell me all the bells and whistles that I truly did not need, and being a young adult buying my first set of hearing aids on my own, I found out just exactly how expensive my hearing aids cost my parents.  At the time I decided to hold off a bit to come up with the funds.  I saw Ann with my 2nd appointment, and well, she gave me what I needed for my type of hearing loss without all the bells and whistles that wouldn’t have even helped me at all!!  And a much more reasonably priced hearing aids at that! Well, 15 years later, (much too long to wait) it was time to get new hearing aids.  I knew I wanted to see Ann and was aware that she started her own business with her husband.  I trusted Ann to give me what I needed for my type of hearing loss so  when I went in we discovered I had gone from 70% hearing loss to 90-95% loss.  As disappointed as I was in finding out about my loss, Ann kept me positive throughout the entire process of fitting me for my new hearing aids.   Her employees were equally helpful & kind.  The day came for me to try out my hearing aids, well, put it this way, when I left that day, I heard my turn signal in my car!!  I never heard my turn signal before, EVER!!!  I was hearing things I never picked up before microwave beeps, refrigerator running, well you get the picture.  I will be forever grateful for Pickart Hearing for giving me a chance to hear things more clearly!

Yesterday is the past:

As a teenage enjoying life, who thinks about their ears.  I loved active life.  Roller skating to loud music, loud music-music ringing in my ears for days until I would go skating again.  I was a farm Gal, the loud tractors and machinery were no help.  To make fun money I worked in the corn packing canning factory.  Much fun, but positively no EAR PROTECTION!  Need I say more.  The mistake I made, the shadows in my mind were lifted when I was introduced to Ann Pickart, from Pickart Hearing Services many years later.

Tomorrow is the future:
Ann Pickart and her staff helped me through my failure and successes with my hearing problems.  I alone cannot change the inevitable, but by trusting the wonderful care and service at Ann Pickart Hearing Service, and obeying God through prayer a change in my hearing can be accomplished.

Today is the present:
It is a gift we can have if we make the right decisions as I did by going to Ann Pickart and her staff.  They will help you make the right choices based on your needs, it will be a inner peace to be able to hear and enjoy conversations again.  A hearing aid will help to take away the discouragement and depressed feelings because we are missing out on life’s wonderful sounds.  Im truly thankful for Ann Pickart Hearing Service and praise and honor God for directing me to them.
